PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
1、Receives and reviews priority Shortage report to provide alternative part;
2、Try to find alternative part with detail spec, price, lead time, MOQ and stock quantity
3、Follow up part creation till buyer can release PO;
4、Works as a liaison between suppliers and Rapid China buyers to expedite deliveries, resolve shortages and any other discrepancy;
5、Works as a liaison between suppliers and Engineer/customer to provide correct alternative part with stock available;
6、Global stock check for alternative part;
7、Creates SPRs as needed, communicate SPRs with Engineering team;
8、Support NPI, RPM and RTM to provide alternative part with best L/T;
9、Assists China’s buyer for any shortage issue;
10、Supports sourcing of existing and new material as required;
11、Fills in as a backup for the sourcing team;
12、Accountable and takes full ownership of the position;
13、Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
1、Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel, MS Word and industry standard purchase order software platforms
2、Negotiations
3、Written communication wit English
4、Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Qualifications:
1、 Degree or equivalent experience
