Headquartered in USA, our client is a swimwear sourcing office in Guangzhou.

Report to: Director (based in USA)
Job Purpose 职位目的:
To implement the raw material strategic sourcing for the Swimwear category.
Key Responsibilities主要职责:
1. Responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers for raw materials and trims, support seasonal raw material sourcing development strategies to meet brand aesthetic, quality, cost, lead times and testing requirements.
2. Identifying and selecting vendors, negotiating prices and contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials.
3. Coordinating with cross-functional teams, providing market intelligence to internal stakeholders, and managing suppliers’ performance and quality assurance.
4. Procure new novelty trims, innovations and sustainable offerings each season for Design review.
5. Foster external relationships with raw material suppliers.
6. Measure supplier performance by tracking quality, cost, delivery, flexibility/agility, compliance call outs.
7. Assist in formulating sourcing strategy to mitigate risk, enhance efficiency and optimize materials and suppliers.
8. Attend local Trade shows and find new supplier resources in Asia.
9. Update and manage supplier matrixes and how they relate to corporate compliance and testing strategies/requirements.
10. Facilitating trim testing with internal lab or via 3rd party testing
Job Requirements职位要求:
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in raw material and trims sourcing within the Swimwear/ lingerie industry.
3. Expertise in trim development including materials, techniques, technologies and how it correlates to garment application and commercialization.
4. Demonstrated understanding of the vendor landscape and relationships with suppliers.
5. Familiarity with global sourcing, production, and logistics.
6. Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
8. Good oral and written English.
